Solar Tomorrow Inc. has developed a proprietary micro-channel heat exchanger that can be used as either a wall-integrated or roof-mounted solar thermal collector.
As demonstrated in the greenhouse project at Chatham University, Solar Tomorrow’s collectors can be retrofitted into existing curtain wall structures without structural changes to the building and provide additional thermal and acoustic insulation.
Solar Tomorrow’s collectors achieve 85% thermal efficiency due to highly improved heat transfer and flow characteristics.
Solar Tomorrow’s collectors are manufactured entirely in North America and are made of 100% aluminum alloy with 70% recycled content that can be fully recycled after a 20-25 year lifespan.
Other characteristics distinguishing us from competitors include:

• Ultra-thin collector (1.75”) • Light weight collector (35 lbs) • Total resistance to fogging due to hermetically sealed glazing • Wall integrated solar thermal collectors can free up roofing space for photovoltaic panels • Use of an affordable and abundant raw material for the absorber (aluminum is 3.5 times cheaper than copper) |
